Join the Synthetix Core Contributor community as an Operations Analyst and help build the future of decentralized finance. The team contributors are currently located in multiple time zones, but this role is in person in Sydney, Australia only. Synthetix is an open-source derivatives liquidity protocol on Ethereum, Optimism, and Base that enables collateral on-chain to back stablecoins, perpetual futures markets, and more. We’re driven by startup values - we iterate fast, test often, and automate wherever possible. We have some of the most complex dApps on Ethereum powering an ecosystem of other protocols and are constantly building new interfaces and making improvements to existing products.

Synthetix is looking for an Operations Analyst to join the team in Sydney to assist with efficient operation of the organization, its governance, and finances.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with day to day operations, meetings, documentation and financial transactions
  • Oversee the workflow of governance proposals

Ideal candidates:

  • More than 2 years of onchain activity, and very comfortable staging, reviewing, decoding and tracking onchain transactions
  • Formal education in finance, or comparable work experience
  • More than 2 years experience working with DAOs and decentralized finance
  • Well developed long form writing ability
  • Extreme attention to detail, and fanatically proactive
  • Intellectually curious and enjoys moving fast
  • Willing to be flexible with availability to accommodate the fast-paced nature of the cryptocurrency market and open to occasional travel for events
  • Based in Sydney, Australia
